Report: Pres spox: Russia not to initiate U.S. sanctions ease

WASHINGTON, Mar 13 (PRIME) -- Russia will not initiate easing of the sanctions against the country because this is a U.S. prerogative, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told CNN in an interview broadcast on March 12.

“Russia will never initiate putting this issue on the agenda,” Peskov said referring to the sanctions.

He also said that Moscow is somewhat frustrated with the first months of work of the new U.S. presidential administration. “We don't have a proper understanding of the future of our bilateral relationship.”
